Accident insurance pays according to the policy for covered accidental injuries and qualifying care. A medical bill by itself does not establish that a benefit is payable.
Where could the money help?
Aflac describes cash benefits paid to the policyholder unless assigned. Depending on your situation, cash can help with medical costs or everyday expenses during recovery. It is not a promise that every expense will be reimbursed.
